What can I donate?
Cars, trucks, boats, RVs, trailers and fleet vehicles.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, your donation is tax deductible. The Lymphoma Foundation of America is a non-profit charity recognized by the Internal Revenue Service.
What do I need to do to donate my vehicle?
We'd like the title to the vehicle. But, if you do not have title papers call us anyway; other arrangements can be made in most instances.
My car hasn't run in years. Can I still donate it?
Yes! Even if the vehicle does not operate, we can make all the arrangements to have it picked up (some restrictions apply). However, the condition of your vehicle will affect the fair market value of your donation.
Will you pick up vehicles in all 50 states?
Yes, we accept vehicles in all 50 states.
How is the value of my car determined?
We can refer you to IRS Publication which sets forth the manner in which the IRS requires you to determine the value of your donated property. You can review this publication on the IRS web site right now. If your donation is worth more than $5,000 you will need an appraisal for tax purposes. We can arrange to have your vehicle valued by an independent appraiser and provide you with all the necessary documentation to properly claim your tax deduction.
How will the car be picked up?
At the scheduled time, we will arrange the proper vehicle to tow your car, boat, truck, RV or travel trailer.
How long will it take to pick up my car?
As soon as you contact us, we can normally pick up your car within a few days. If you need your car picked up sooner, we can make those arrangements.
